Lakisha Ghee is a passionate and dedicated Master of Social Work intern specializing in Urban Children, Youth, and Families. With over 20 years of experience supporting diverse communities—from young children and adolescents to adults and older adults—Lakisha brings a deep commitment to empowering individuals through empathy, education, and culturally responsive care.
Currently completing her MSW at Morgan State University, Lakisha integrates real-world experience with a strong academic foundation. She has worked extensively with clients facing substance use, trauma, women’s issues, ADHD, educational challenges, anxiety, depression, and persistent mental health conditions. Lakisha is skilled in using a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Motivational Interviewing, CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, Play Therapy, and ACT.
Whether you’re navigating life transitions, managing a diagnosis, or feeling emotionally “stuck,” Lakisha meets you with empathy and understanding—wherever you are in your journey. Her approach is client-centered and strengths-based, offering a nonjudgmental space to explore, heal, and grow. Lakisha is especially passionate about working with underserved populations, offering practical tools and emotional support to help clients build resilience and reclaim control of their lives.
She currently provides therapy under supervision, offering both in-person and Telehealth sessions with flexible scheduling. Lakisha is honored to walk beside you on the path to healing and personal empowerment.
